"Modern witchcraft comprises a vast landscape, home to many varying opinions and politics. These portraits and accompanying textual accounts represent the topography of that landscape. The opinions reflected herein are the subject's own.

As hard as I've worked to be comprehensive in this visual catalog, it is by no means definitive.  There will undoubtedly be those who feel unconsidered. I acknowledge  the many male self-described witches sho have reached out to me. The scope of my work as an artist has long focused on what it means to inhabit the guise of "woman", and I set my framework for this series accordingly. That said, I made efforts to represent much of the gender spectrum, including genderqueer, nonbinary, and trans individuals."
